Arraial do Cabo. Very nice place 150 Km north of Rio de Janeiro. The bus company to get there from the Rodoviaria (Bus Terminal) is 1001. We paid 226 Reales (return) for 2 persons. It takes about 3 hours. From the Airport to the Rodoviaria it takes abbout 25 minutes and we paid 26 Reales (1 way) for 2 persons. A Taxi can cost more or less 40 reales (1 way).
Arraial do Cabo is really nice and quiet. Nice beaches. The water is about 20 C° but in Praia Grande (which is really beautiful) the water can be really cold (about 15 C°)!! The cost of the life is not that cheap if you consider what you get. A Basic room with bathroom and breakfast costs about 200 reales. Most of the hotels offer the same at 400 Reales. A normal dinner cost about 90 Reales for 2 persons.
